MO Certified Activity Director
ADAM offers a State certification to identify
those Activity Directors that have the abilities and training to be quality professionals. This is the ONLY certification
in the state of MO. The Activity Courses offered by organizations in MO award Certificates of Attendance this is not
the same as being Certified. It is, however an important & necessary part of becoming certified.
The Purpose of the ADAM Certification Board is:
"To
establish state evaluations and standards for the certificationa and recertification of individuals who possess the competencies
of the activity profession, grant recognition to individuals who voluntarily apply and meet the established standards and
adherence to these standards. "
